Hey folks,
Training volume is creeping up at the moment. Back to 5-6 days a week training & the volume is taking a bit of a toll on the body. Lower back is feeling better but definitely still tight.
Swam a solid 500m TT in the pool today & although my pace was too quick out of the gate and I fell off a few seconds at the end I feel a lot stronger than last year.
followed by an hour bike on the trainer then a 30 minute tempo run.
I have made an amendment to my race season. I've decided that the timing & budget are not going to correlate well enough this year to go to Australia. I'm actually not disappointed but rather excited that I can focus that much more on the Alberta races coming down the tube.
Wasa, Great white, & Calgary are going to be my main focus this year & I may slip another in between or after depending how jevro is feeling.
