Been on/off sick the past couple weeks. Potential thoughts were strept throat but that has been ruled out. Gargle mouthwash, cough medicine, anti inflammatory for the sore throat & almost on the road to complete recovery.
Every athlete dreads even the idea of getting sick. It sets back your performance & presents a slight amount of depression/frustration that an athlete has to stickhandle mentally.
I have been able to get a few strong straining sessions with the birdman that have kept me somewhat on track.
Finally incorporated a power meter in with the bike which gives a steady focus on consistently maintaining power.
Looking forward very much to gettting back in the pool, riding the trainer, & running some outside fish creek runs!
