Tentative race season planned

Training is coming along. I have incorporated somewhat of a routine for December which is considered my semi-off season training.

Definitely feeling the carry over of my fitness from training semi-consistently from March 2008 up until now.

Very excited to think that come March of 2009 will be my first full year of endurance/triathlon related training. I am very optimistic of things to come.

Finally got back into the water again and feeling quite good. I've layed the preliminary "endurance" foundation & now focus on increasing my efficiency/technique with my first swim coach.

I'm excited to see If we can work together & achieve my swimming goals for the 2009 race season.

My tentative race season for this year is as follows:

1)Wildflower 1/2 Ironman- May 3rd
2) Wasa Olympic distance triathlon- June 13th
3) Okotoks foothills charity sprint triathlon- July 4th
4) Calgary 1/2 Ironman- August 2nd
5) Olympic distance world championships/Gold Coast Australia- Sept 13th

Nationals in Kelowna is the even more so tentative race that I may forsee myself racing.

That depends on where my fitness is at leading up to the Calgary 1/2 ironman.

my motto right now- "back up the intensity jevro, race season isn't until May"
